What Causes Scanty Menstrual Period While On Microgynon Pills?

Hi, ran three packs of microgryon pill together and my last two breaks in my pill have been extremely lighter than usual brown blood, with painful period pain, I have taken my pill how I usually would, could I be pregnant, why would my period be so light?
