What Causes Scanty Period And Mood Swings?

hello im 21 years old and i got my period a week early this month i have never had an early period and it was really light ontop of that also i have been super emotional the littlest things are making me cry my family also has a history of having a period in the first part of pregnancy for the first couple of months do i have anything to worry about?
