What Causes Secretion Of Clear Fluid From Swollen Legs Without Pain?
My 82 yr old mother has frequent swelling in her legs and feet from the knees down - her doctor tells her it s part old age and partly from her COPD. This afternoon her right leg began to literally drip clear water like droplets. Other than her usual leg pain and swelling she says she isn t in anymore pain than usual. What should I do about this?

Hi, I think you should do two things--
She should be given a diuretic--discuss with doctor.
Secondly, check for varicose veins.
