What Causes Seeing Of Glowing Colors And Distortion In Eyes?

I'm a 17 year old female, and whenever I get up and walk, or stand in the shower, I start seeing color in a sort of glowing, distorted, almost neon-ish way. I don't feel dizzy or lightheaded, but that I am misjudging my surroundings...and that I could pass out, but know I wont. It usually goes away within minutes. What does this mean?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having problem of seeing glowing colors and distortion of vision on standing up.
This indicates transient ischemia and you need to worry. This s is usually because of hypotension or hypovolemia.
However if it is occurring repeatedly need to rule vascular causes causing ischemia like carotid artery disease, peripheral vascular diseases, vasculitis or causes in the eye like macular edema or macular degeneration....
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
