What Causes Seizure After Teeth Removal?

I recently had two teeth pulled at the Dentist office. Everything went fine and there were no complications. Later that night when i woke up to go to the bathroom I started feeling faint and passed out on the floor and had a seizure. What could have caused this?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The immediate post procedure period was uneventful. It is the period of night, when you woke up to bathroom started feeling faint indicates pain related sympathetic response in terms of postural hypotension and seizure type activity of body twitching. Adequate hydration, pain control are key features to avoid such future episodes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
