What Causes Seizures?

where I work at there is a resident who states he has seizures. I am in the medical field and these seizures are none like I have ever seen. he lays down on flor and flops around for about a minute to two minutes and immediately come out of his Seizures and starts talking like nothing has happened there is no post dictal stage what so ever. I wonerd what this could be he has been examined by neurosurgeons who can find no reason for his Seizures maybe you could she some light on the situation
