Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic
Unprotected sex is risky in terms of STD's.
The discharge that you noticed 2 weeks later is unlikely to be semen as ejaculation of semen cannot happen in the resting state.
Most likely the urethral discharge that you noticed was part of an STD, which is likely to be non-
gonococcal urethritis (NGU).
NGU is commonly caused by either Chlamydia Or
Mycoplasma. The discharge is thick, gluey and transparent in nature unlike in
gonorrhea which causes pus discharge per urethrum.
If I was the treating doctor I would have taken a urethral swab for chalamydia and treated you empirically for NGU.
Regarding testing, your
HIV test was too soon after unprotected sex (only 2 weeks later); testing too soon could give a false negative result.
Ideally screening for HIV should be done earliest at 1 month after sexual contact. Therefore you should get yourself tested again for HIV at 1 month and then again at 3 months for a conclusive result.
Also get tested for other STD's like
herpes,
syphilis and
hepatitis B as well.
I suggest you to visit a venereologist for the needful. Moreover, if you notice any ulcer or growth/wart or swelling in the genital area you should get yourself checked with a venereologist.
Your symptoms are non-specific and it would be difficult to assign them to NGU. They could be due to an unrelated cause
Regards
Always practice safe sex with a condom!
