What Causes Semen To Become Watery?

Hi I am 36, 6'01", weight is 190/195#. Medical history is biseneroneural hearing loss (bilateral), genetic hypercholesteromia w/ simvisatin @ 40 mg. Otherwise a very healthy & active person. I noticed that my semen has changed from thick viscous to bit watery does that signify a clinical problem?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Watery semen can be a sign of low sperm count, indicating possible fertility problems. Ejaculating thin, clear semen may also be a temporary condition with no serious health concerns.

As of now you can go for a semen analysis and in case of any abnormalities like low sperm count or decreased motility, you can consult an infertility specialist and get evaluated. Most probably it might be a temporary problem without any health effects.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
