What Causes Sensation Of Passing Bowel Movement Along With Abdominal Pain?

I have this feeling of having to go to the restroom constantly (number 2) but every time I try to go barely anything comes out. I have a lot of pain in my abdomen and right under my ribs. I ve been prescribed to take miraLAX but I feel like that has only made the pain worse. What could this be or should I go to the emergency room ?

Welcome to health care magic .
As you are feeling pain in the right side just below the rib and this pain worsen due to laxative tablets ( miralax ).
In my opinion this type of pain may be due to right renal calculus ( stone anywhere in urinary tract system ) .
Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of right kidney.
Since ,if pain is unbearable visit ER but if you can bear the pain need not to go ER and deal as a routine case.
As I have noted in my many patient that due to calculus many patient also develop urge for defecation .
2nd reason of such pain may be consolidation of right lung , diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest .
Till take drotavierine tablet for pain .
