What Causes Sensing Unpleasant Smell At The Crease Of The Nose?

Hi, I have an ileostomy which was caused by adhesions obstructing my colon. I have had all my large colon removed and part of my small colon leaving me with approx 1 metre of intestiines. Can adhesions obstruct the 1 metre I have left and what would the outcome be. Cheers Judy

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Don't worry during surgery they have cleared all adhesion I think, so less length of intestine and less chance to obstruction. What is the reason for adhesion of intestines?? any abdomen tuberculosis or Infection?
