Hi, I m 65 years old and my left testicle has a spot on the top side that is sensitive. The right one has the same thing/area/spot but it isn t as sensitive as the left. I m not talking about the nodule on the front of the testicles, it s an area on the side/top near where all the tubes run.
Hi. This is very uncommon problem to have a sensitive area of skin on the scrotum. There can not be a specific reason for such an occurrence unless you shave the skin regularly or has some surgery or has accident involving this area that gives hyperacusis. I would advise you to see a Dermatologist and get a clinical evaluation and treatment as required. Skin biopsy may be needed in some patients.
Hi. Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific. The commonest causes of such lumps on the top of the testicles where all the tubes run-in or run-out are cyst of epididymis or small secondary hydrocele and so on. This can be very well diagnosed by ultrasonography and color doppler examination, tests of semen, blood and urine and obviously a clinical examination by a General Surgeon or Urologist. The treatment can be surgical depending upon the reports and I hope you do not really need the continuity of the vas or epididymis at this age. Hence you can go ahead with the Surgery if needed.
