What Causes Sensitive Spot On The Side Of The Leg?

Small area on side of leg is sensitive to touch as if bruised but there is no bruise, no marks of any kind, no swelling, or lump can be felt. And it is irritated. Y light touch only such as the edge of my shorts brushing as I walk. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Because there is no visible swelling or bruises, it seems to be something self-limiting and that just needs to be observed. I would advise you to have a look at it in the next 4-5 days as it should start to improve soon.
If you do not notice any improvement in a few days or in case you see any new symptoms or worsening you will need to talk to your doctor and have it checked.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
