What Causes Sensitiveness In Vulva Along With Tiny Bumps On The Clitoris?

Hello I woke up feeling very sensitive on my vulva. And after using the washroom while wiping it stung a bit and in the shower it felt weird so I decided to check it out and there are tiny bumps around my clitoris. The earliest that I can get physically checked out is Monday. What do you think it is?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Is there any discharge or itching? Any recent unprotected sexual contact? This may suggest beginning of a vulvovaginitis or irritation from pad/lubricant. If there is no fever or active discharge, just keep the area clean and dry. Apply some emollients, and take acetaminophen 2-3 times a day to reduce discomfort. If symptoms persist beyond 3 days or discharge/fever comes, kindly see your doctor for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
