What Causes Sensitivity In The Eyes While Suffering From Type 1 Diabetes?

I m 24 years old and just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. My eyes have been real sensative for the last 14 months, have to wear glasses all the time during the day, when it s dark I see like round blots.. my question is because of my diabetes will they get worse?
