Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Sensitivity On The Left Side Of The Scalp?
The left side of my scalp has become super sensitive. The last time this happened, back in the winter, it lasted a few weeks then went away. It only hurts to touch it, so it s not that bothersome. I am wondering if it could be shingles? I had chickenpox as a small child.
I think it can be seborrhoeic dermatitis and not shingles because the rash should be all over body. I think you may need to use Nizoral shampoo every day for your hair to see if it can get better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
