What Causes Sensorineural Hearing Loss?

I am a 42 year old female with sensorineural hearing loss in both ears resulting in having to use hearing aids. The hearing loss was diagnosed last year, I started having tinnitus about 2 years ago. Numerous test have all come back negative, included Wegner s Granduloma, ANA titer, diabetes. No one can tell me why I loss my hearing - any suggestions or theories?

hello,thanks for your query, sensorineural hearing loss could be due to medications(ototoxix drugs), measels ,mumps infections,head injury or middle ear infections where toxic materials entering into inner ear, acoustic injury where loud sound spoiling inner hair cells of ur inner ear, meningitis, autoimmune diseases.kindly evaluate with an ent surgeon. all the best. take care.
