What Causes Severe Abdominal And Back Pain During Menstruation?

Hi, This month I had a missed period, yesterday I started lightly bleeding and now im bleeding heavier along with lower abdominal pain and lower back pain and im not sure what this means. Im just in alot of pain waiting for my doctors appointment. I just would like a answer.
