What Causes Severe Abdominal And Chest Pain?
What can mimic a heart attack besides gall bladder problems? My symptoms have progressively worsened over the past 4 months. I have terrible abdominal and chest pain that goes up my throat. No acid reflux or heartburn. I have seen a gastroenterologist and a cardiologist. I have had every test that they have proscribed. They were all inconclusive. Not my heart, no blockages in my intestines. Not my gall bladder. I am still in terrible pain and don t know what to do next. Could it be an autoimmune disease or a food allergy? My GP has become very blasé about my illness and I don t know where to turn next. Jules

Understanding your concern. As per your query severe severe abdominal and chest pain due to many reasons like middle ear infection , gastritis , IBS , giardiasis , angina or low blood iron or sugar level . You should not ignore this ,because it can also occur due to condition like angina so consult cardiologist it it without any delay , who may order troponin test , ECG and TMT , because sometimes the condition get complicated. You should consult with your gastroenterologist and get evaluated. Doctor may order stool test and ultrasound and treat it accordingly. Doctor may recommend you to start with antibiotics, steroids and anaspas for 5 to 7 weeks.
