General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your daughter has a history of constipation. She is suggested to take plenty of water. She should not take constipation producing food like food rich in gluten, alcohol, unripe bananas, processed grains, milk & dairy products, red meat, fried junk food & packed food.

Get her physically examined, severe abdominal pain, loose stool & vomiting may occur when the liver gets enlarged. Get her liver function tests, CBC, Urinalysis, USG of the liver (if required) done. Her treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.

Give her homemade fresh boiled food, soups, cooked veggies, oatmeal & food that is easily digested.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
