What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramps When Diagnosed With IBS?

I have a case of IBS its more spastic colon ive had it all my life im 27. Recently I went to mexico about 2 weeks ago and came back and had some cramping, semi usual for my condition. Ive noticed several times not every time that my stool has odd white things over it looking like mucus. Im a little worried about it

The situation you described might be normal for you, but I would also think about possible parasitic infection with your recent travel. I would suggest seeing a doctor to possibly get your stool checked, or your doctor may just want to treat you without testing in case of infection. The treatment typically only takes a few days to clear your body of any parasites.
