What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramps With Brown Discharge While On BC Pills?

Hi um this is a question about my period. I m on birth control and it s the shot. Well one day I started having this really bad cramp like I don t know why it was so bad and today I had like brown discharge stuff and I thought it was just my period but I m really scared and don t know if this is normal and I ve been having cramps but no period

I understand your concern.
Experiencing intermittent cramps and occasional discharges which could be brownish in colour or spotting can happen while you are on birth control pills or depo shots. Such symptoms are usually seen in the first few weeks following the shots.
All you need is reassurance and take symptomatic treatment to overcome such symptoms.
However, in case these symptoms start occurring frequently or becomes bothersome, you need to seek medical attention promptly.
