What Causes Severe Abdominal Cramps?

I have been feeling cramps for almost week now. I had my period as scheduled last month, but i hoped and prayed I didnt get pregnant so tested just to see. I got a negative but i tested 13 days too early. Wouldn t it be too early to be feeling cramps due to a pregnancy?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Feeling of cramps is not a sign of pregnancy. If your periods are delayed by a month and a week, you can test for pregnancy in urine by 'Urine Pregnancy Test'.
If it is negative, then the cramps are due to delay in periods.
You can take Mefenamic Acid 500mg and Dicyclomine 20 mg combination for cramps.
If there are any other issues related to this, kindly consult Gynecologist for opinion and proper management.
Wish you all the best.
