What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain After A Miscarriage?

Hi,i have been miscarriage my baby,3 days from now. I already consult by the doctor,but still she did not give me any medicine unless I have to finish my ultrasound, today. But im started to suffer in terible pain in my lower abdominal. It is possible to drink any pain reliver? or I should wait until my doctor will give me some medicine. But I cant handle it for too much pain.
