What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain, Dark Yellow Urine And Diarrhea?

I am having really bad abdominal pain that gets severe when I bend over, lift something, or sit down. Yesterday, I was just nausea, and a headache, a little fatigued....today its worse. The pain was so bad, my fiancé had to help me up when I sat on the floor. I have a poor appetite, my urine is very dark yellow. The other day, I had terrible gas and diarrhea, but the pain today brought me to tears; and it is worsening.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It looks like you have an enlarged liver that is causing you abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea & vomiting. Visit ER, get physically examined. Get Urinalysis, CBC, Blood for bilirubin, Liver function tests done. You need to do the tests to confirm whether you are suffering from jaundice or viral hepatitis.

Keep yourself well hydrated with soups, juices. Avoid oily, spicy, fried food. Take boiled food. You can take anti-emetics to stop vomiting, Spasmol for abdominal pain, Udiliv or other liver tonic's under a consultant. You may need medical attention & intravenous support presently.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
