Hi! Good evening. I am Dr Shareef answering your query. If I were your doctor I would go for an ultrasound of your abdomen to rule out any intra abdominal pathology like a gall stone disease not uncommon in getting precipitated during pregnancy , and also rule out by physical examination any chances of an appendix infection which might cause pain higher up at this stage. Apart from this, the ultrasound would also let us know the position and well being of the fetus, and the placenta as well. Further management would depend on the results of the physical examination and the ultrasound report.

I hope this information would help you in discussing with your family physician/treating doctor in further management of your problem. Please do not hesitate to ask in case of any further doubts.

Thanks for choosing health care magic to clear doubts on your health problems. I wish you an early recovery. Dr Shareef
