General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
In second tri master of pregnancy, possibility of abortion is considerably reduced. The pain is mainly due to increasing fetal weight & pelvic muscles are stretched to make room for the baby. However a continuous & severe pain should not be neglected It can be due to digestion issues/ urinary bladder problem/ weak cervix making possibility of incompetent os.
So a visit to your treating doctor & necessary investigations are worth trying. The specific cause found to offer you suitable medication & relief from pain.
Thanks.
