What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain In The Night?

Having a lot of pain during the night, in my stomach. When i try and pass a stool, it is very small and does not appear soft Very hard to pass stool as i must relax as much s possible so that the pain is tolerable in the stomach. UP 4 times last night trying to teleave the gas by passing stool

Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

The pain you felt in your stomach last night associated with a lot of gas is due to distended bowels from gas and the stool remaining for long (not being able to pass the stool; only little hard stool).

Get plenty of water. Apply anal enema and take laxatives to induce a bowel movement. Take psyllium supplement to ease bowel movement.

If still no improvement, consult further with your gastroenterologist.
