General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Still you have taken i-pill within 72 hours, it will not give 100% protection. In case of missing periods. Kindly do urine pregnancy test and ultrasound abdomen and pelvis after gynecologist consultation.

Kindly use extra protection from day 8 to 20 days after periods to avoid pregnancy. Abdominal pain may be due uterine contractions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
