What Causes Severe Ankle Pain Radiating To Calf?
hello my friend has been having severe ankle pain for a week. he had x=ray taken waws told it was severly sprained. he was given a air splint and told to keep it elevated and iced. he is noew to a point where he cant hardly walk on it . he said the pain is going up to his calf any idea what this could b.

I really appreciate your concern, such soft tissue injury of bony region take little long time for healing but later of sooner it will be okay, only matter of concern is fracture part and it should not be missed, in case of persistence pain repeat x-ray and second opinion may needed hope this information helps.
