What Causes Severe Anxiety Along With Shortness Of Breath?

I am 62 year old, with diabetes (52yrs), MS, acid reflux, hiatal hernia and more. I have been having this feeling like I could vomit on and off since Wed. I had a lot of anxiety this week with projects in the house, etc. Today, I just ate a sandwich and my chest feels tight. I also am short of breath, poss allergies but I did clean out a refrigerator on Saturday at my dad s house that had some moldy food. I am able to do things. It just always feels like there is something stuck in my throat and if I vomited it would feel better. The chest tightness has diminished now.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
since you are diabetic and 62 years, its better you do ECG to rule out ischemic heart disease. Otherwise these symptoms can be due to Gastro esophageal reflux disease.
