What Causes Severe Anxiety And Chest Discomfort After Receiving Steroid Injection?
I am presently taking Xanax, prestiq, trazadone and have recently been given a steroid injection in my knee. I am having problems with high anxiety levels, deep breathing, sleepless nights, heaviness in chest, no appetite. Is there a danger in mixing drugs with steroid injections?

This is not common side effect of steroid injection but my be possible. However since you take many medications which may affect mental status and general condition , it hard to know which one of these has caused such symptoms.
