What Causes Severe Anxiety While On Adderall?

Hi My son is on Adderall. He has had Anxiety attacks since the beginning of the school year. He was in a mental health hospital for 5 days for depression, he gets upset sometimes and doesn t know why. He is 18 and in 3 A.P. classes. should the Adderall be looked at as a cause?

Anxiety has been described among the side effects of adderall. I will advise you see his mental health Doctor for evaluation.His Doctor may consider a dose adjustment of his drug or a change of drug.
