What Causes Severe Back Pain And Urinary Incontinence?
I am five foot one and a half, 115lbs, I have two thirty degree curves of scoliosis, and I have been having back pain for a year or so now, sometimes I can t feel fingers, I get shooting pains down my back, arms, and legs, and I have had sharp, stabbing pains in my back and muscle spasms. I have also had issues with urine leakage. What should I do and how do I manage the pain?
** 1. It probably seems that scoliosis has affected your bladder i.e. neurogenic bladder disorder.
2. although scoliosis itself doesn't cause bladder problem but severe scoliosis may damage the spinal cord [spinal stenosis] and may damage the organs innervated by the nerves and incontinence is one of them
PS. you should also know about other symptoms which are caused by scoliosis like: sexual dysfunction, weakness/numbness or tingling in legs.
3. Consult with an Orthopedic Surgeon for further necessary examination and investigation.
