What Causes Severe Back Pain On The Left Side?

Hello doctor, A male member of my family is suffering from a sever pain on his left back. It is really painful and he feels like there is some foreign body inside. Last year, he did undergo an excision where a 1- inch fat was removed. It is now paining on both left and right back precisely near the waist and hip region. Please help me doctor. Thank you very much.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such pain may not be due to the foreign body but it could be due to some muscular spasm and if the doubt of foreign body needs to be ruled out then better to go for x-ray and other imaging studies, till then Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times can be used hope this information helps.
