What Causes Severe Back Pain While Treating Polycythemia Vera?

Lately , I seem to get very tired even though I haven t been doing much. I am currently being treated for Polycythemia vera and my doctor is very pleased with my progress so far. I am taking baby aspirin , Sertraline HCL 100 Mg. and Hydroxyurea 500MG. For many years I have been bothered by lower back pain sometimes mild, but sometimes severe. I am suspicious that this may be a part of my problem. What do you think?

HI
Well come to HCM
If your main concern is your backache then this can be managed with NSAID (Non-steroid Anti-inflammatory Drug ) but this is not right option unless the cause of backache found out and for that you need to get done the imagining study, because this could be due to spinal disc disease, hope this information helps, take care.
