What Causes Severe Bleeding After Having Tonsils Removed?

I had my tonsils out on 4/15/2015 on 4/23/2015 I had to go back to the ER because I started bleeding and lost a liter of blood. May question is would I be okay by now to have a few beers tonight or am I a high risk of bleeding again because it happened once before?

I really appreciate your concern with such amount of loss of blood you really need to see the ER and no need to take any chance some time condition may need blood transfusion, hope this information helps take care
