What Causes Severe Bloating,swelling In Ankle And Tightness In Skin?

I had a steroid injection for bronchitis & sinus infection 1 month ago. How long does it take to clear out of the body? I'm having severe swelling in my stomach,I have swollen ankle's, mainly my right one. My skin feels really tight & my foot feels like it's going to sleep. My index finger on the left hand is very swollen & sore. My stomach is so swollen I can not fit in my clothes. I am pre diabetic & take Januva. My blood sugars have been a little off but that was expected. I'm not sure if all this is even related to diabetis anyway. Maybe something else?
