What Causes Severe Body Itching While Suffering From Liver Cirrhosis?

I have cirrhosis. My excessive itching stopped several months ago but has returned. My specialist wants to re test me....what does bilirubin have to do with the excess itching, if anything. My doctor gives me great feedback and information and I have studied up on it as well but I seem to get some of the things confused and it is just a lot to process. I have not any alcohol whatsoever in 10 months and am eating quite well with my nutrition focues on healthy liver support. I only take dirutetics. Over this past 10 months I have regained considerable strength, energy, appetite and jaundice almost gone except for a little bit still in my eyes. Hardly any abdominal distention, edema, hair loss, confusion, etc. that I had in the first few months of diagnosis and treatment; so I am on the right path. My MELD is at 20 and 9 months ago it at 25. thank you Um, i thought this was a free service...bad baseball. I don t have the funds to pay for this
