What Causes Severe Burning Sensation After Having Pap Smear Test?
I suspect the Dr. that gave me a pep smear did something deliberate to harm me. I have been burning since the pap smear which was Sept. 21st. Going back to my primary physician she gave me Fluconazole 150mg. 2 pills, going back a week later she gave me cephalexin 500mg, I also use miconazole nitrate. None of this worked. On 10 7 I went to the emergency room and was also given Fulconazole, 2 pills. It did not stop the burning. On 11 9 I went to a different OB GYN was given fluconzole 200 milligrams for 7 days. So far I am still burning. My question is what could she have done to cause this problem.
Hi, It seems that there might be having soreness and irritation after taking pap smear. You might require one course of antibiotic medicine like Amoxicilin for 5 days. After soreness heals up, you will feel better. Keep local hygiene clean and dry. Ok and take care.
