Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe burning sensation and pain in neck despite taking Meloxicam . Well the symptoms you mention in query are clearly pointing towards a condition known as cervical spondolysis . But there can be othere reasons alsoside effects of some medicines as you also mention in query , so consult concern doctor , inner ear infection , migraine or benign paroxysmal positional vertigo . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order muscle relaxant , anti emetic drug , recommend stretching exercises along with physical therapy of neck and shoulder .
