What Causes Severe Burning Sensation In Stomach?

sir, my father is 78 yrs old , he is a diabetic patient and also heart patient , now he is having a severe burning sensation in stomach , we consult doctor , he told us to do endoscopy , so I want to know that whether it is painful procedure or normal, whether we go for endoscopy or not

Hello! I read carefully the complaint of you father!
He has burning sensation in stomach , and may be it is related with a gastritis or something else , but sure to put a diagnose and then treat these symptoms, he must do the gastroscope!
It is a invasive procedure, but commonly it is done under sedation, so he will not have pain during the procedure!
