What Causes Severe Chest And Upper Back Pain With Metallic Taste In Mouth?
I just had this severe chest and upper back pain that left a metallic taste in my mouth. Yesterday it happened as well but felt like a severe stabbing pain in my right shoulder blade area. Pain spread to my shoulder with numbness running down my left arm

The symptoms mentioned by u may occur in many diseases but mainly it seems a case of GERD or acute gastritis.
If ur having hurt burn or nausea or vomit like feeling than its probably acidity but if u have pain in ur rt side of chest lower part or abdomen than it may be related to ur gall bladder or ur pancreas.
I would suggest you to start wid antacids and domperidone+pantoprazole combination.
If it doesn't help .go for a consultation with a physician.
