What Causes Severe Chest Pain Along With Dry Cough?
Hi I have had a dry cough for 7 days worse at night or when talking/ eating taking a deep breath. Also my tongue is covered in white. I have no chest pains the cough seems to come from my throat originally had a temperature which went after 2 days. What is causing this Thanks

Hi,
You seem to have tonsillitis causing dry cough... it gives chest pain due to stress to chest muscle with a hacking cough.
A course of suitable antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicine, anti-allergic medicine (in case origin was with allergy exposure) & cough syrup would help.
Consult your family physician. Do hot saline gargles. Avoid spicy, oily, sour & cold things.
