Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per yourr query you have severe chest pain while coughing which occurs after fall, there are possible chances of injury to ribs, contusions and bruises. I would suggest you to take it in a serious way. You should visit Pulmonologist once and get it examined. You should get X-ray chest done along with pulmonary function tests to find out exact level and extent of infection. You should take painkiller Ibuprofen along with cough expectorants. Avoid any cold, hot and spicy food and take diet rich in multivitamins. You should take steam inhalation as well.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
