What Causes Severe Chills And Nausea?

my mother is 92 and in fairly good health but we have occasions where she gets chilled that she can stop shaking . no fever . This happened twice this week. She also gets nausea and sometimes vomits. She is on thyroid meds , restless leg meds, blood pressure med and oxycodone for back pain, but she tries nor to use them unless absolutely has to.

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a gastrointestinal infection. Some advice that I can give to you is:

-Use Reglan three times a day for the vomiting
-Use daily probiotics
-Drink liquids
-Eat plain food

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
