What Causes Severe Chills, Fatigue And Numbness In The Hands?

Hello! My 14 yr old.son came down with massive chills and fatigue last night and mentioned his hands were numb. They were cold when I felt them. He just woke up with a fever and was hot all.over...and I gave him some ibuprofen. He coughed once but I don t think it s ongoing. Should I take him to get a rapid flu test today, or does it sound like some other virus? He is fatigued but walks around ok, as in he s moving and not confining himself to bed. Though that was to wake up and move to a cooler room. Thanks for any insight!
