What Causes Severe Congestion In Throat After Eating?
68 yrs old , take no medication, not overweight PERIODICALLY when i eat my throat produces a lot of fluid ( APPROX 1 CUP) OF FLUID. This causes me to spit up fluid from 5 to thirty minutes. The fluid is very heavy and thick. Then the condition will leave as quickly as it came. I have tried to see if I am reacting to certain foods but this happens with all types of food. Any suggestions?

Such type thick sputum or fluid periodically ( huge quantity ) from the throat with food may be due to these possibilities , these include:
1 Allergy to common food .
2 Hyperacidity , as this is one of the most prominent cause of such fluid .
3 Excessive salivary secretion from salivary gland .
In my opinion deal as mentioned above .
Consult an ENT and get his opinion because sometimes salivary glands start over production due to unknown reason.
