What Causes Severe Constipation Along With Haemorrhoids In Rectum?
I have severe constipation due to the overuse of pain medication and chewing tums to offset nausea. As a result, I have developed a large hemorrhed SP, which doesn t want the stool to pass, at times I have had to wear a glove and dig it out. Is there anything I could take that would liquify it. I have heard of go lightly, what is it and where can I get it? Thanks, Sue
Hii Sue, welcome to Healthcare Magic. I want you to answer some questions so that I can help you better. 1. Do you always have hard stools? 2. Since when are you suffering from these complaints? 3. Why have you used so many pain killers? 4. Do you have family history of haemorrhides? 5. Is there bleeding along with stools? Now coming to your other question Golytely is a laxative. It works by causing you to have diarrhoea to cleanse the colon. But this medicine should not be consumed without prescription of your physician. So I suggest you to get examined 1st, there is a chance that you may need to undergo surgery. Some changes in your diet may help you like eating more fibrous foods-salads, fruits. Avoid apples however. Avoid spicy food. Engage in som physical activity every day. Take care.
