What Causes Severe Constipation In An Infant With Flu Symptoms?
I have an 8 1/2 month old baby that tested positive to Flu A and Flu B. He has not had a bowl movement since Friday and has been taking Tylenol and Motrin since Thursday. He hasn t had Motrin for 6 1/2 hours and Tylenol for 7 1/2 hours and his temp is normal. Should I be alarmed about the bowel movements? He normally has a bowel movement every two days, but I didn t know if I should be concerned with Tylenol poisoning. He is still wetting his diapers.

I really appreciate your concern, in febrile state and antipyretic medicine such constipation is very likely but this will be relieved soon, once the ill condition gone cured, encourage the child for drinking water or dehydration need to be taken care hope this information helps.
