Hi. I have taken macrobid in the past for UTI and it gave me a bad cough. It went away after I finished taking them. I m back on it now and this time the cough is so bad I think I may have bronchitis. I m afraid to stop taking it because this UTI has reoccurred but they also gave me a shot of another antibiotic. I m afraid to keep taking it though because my lungs hurt very badly and I feel so sick. I also take alburerol and an inhaled corticosteroid for asthma. What should I do. I had the shot and taken 3 days of macrobid.
